  • While in Orangedale, don't forget to visit the Orangedale Historical Society Museum at the top of the hill - two minutes from the Orangedale Station Museum.

A student will welcome you there and show you around and give you a lot of history re Orangedale.

Many displays, old pictures, documents, and artifacts galore will give you an idea of what life was like long ago in Orangedale.

Our Historical Society Museum actually houses a wealth of material on the area. The Museum is the old Community Hall of Orangedale built circa 1905. In its day, it served as a place of worship, a two-room school, and as the Community Hall until 1982 whe n a new Community Centre was built - as a result, there is a lot of history connected to it.

OPEN June  - September
