Here you will see numerous display showing off old-time fishrods and tackle, fly-tying material, books, pictures and poachers' paraphernalia.
A large wall chart shows the life cycle of the Atlantic salmon from the eggs to the time they re-enter the river. Preserved salmon and trout eggs show the early stages of development.
Of interest to both young and old is an aquarium containing young trout and salmon.
Our museum attendants will be happy to explain our exhibits and to assist you with travel information.
The Margaree Salmon Museum is sponsored by the
Margaree Anglers Association
who are interested in preservation of trout and salmon fishing in the Margaree River.
The Museum is located in North East Margaree, Nova Scotia (on the Cabot Trail)

The Museum is open daily from June 15 to October 15, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
